New-Mac Offers Scholarships
New-Mac Electric Cooperative is proud to support local students through our College Scholarship Program.
Each year, New-Mac awards scholarships to graduating seniors in the cooperative’s service area to help invest in the future of our communities.
To be eligible, applicants must be graduating seniors attending Carthage, Diamond, East Newton, Joplin, McDonald County, Neosho, Pierce City, Sarcoxie, Seneca, or Wheaton High School. Applicants must also have a cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA, and their parent(s) or guardian(s) must be members of New-Mac Electric Cooperative. Immediate family members of New-Mac employees and board members are not eligible.
A total of 10 nonrenewable scholarships in the amount of $500 will be available, with one scholarship designated for a qualifying student from each participating school. Scholarships must be used at an accredited college or university, and recipients must enroll as full-time students following graduation.
